Communications and Outreach
Communications and Outreach
Our communications aim to raise awareness on the physical science of climate change; its impacts on human development and the natural environment; the potential for building resilience; and the opportunities of embracing and pursuing a just transition towards a low-emission economy and inclusive growth.
We educate, inform, persuade, and mobilize through rigorous outreach programmes, campaigns and partnerships aimed at increasing public awareness and individual and collective action to address the global crisis of climate change.
The PCC provides and seeks platforms to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders and partners such as youth, children, workers, academics, community organisations and NGOs.
We support efforts to communicate climate change in a collectively managed, open, and inclusive manner through national and international networks, and build a national brand for climate action in South Africa. As a multistakeholder voice on climate change, we share climate stories, produce credible science-based reports, and promote climate solutions and initiatives.
As we begin our journey towards a just transition framework please join our newsletter, follow our past and future events, read various reports we have produced, and importantly find and define your role in supporting our work and share that with us.
