High level roundtable on implementing Just Transitions

Managing the social and economic consequences of the climate transition have gained increasing attention as countries grapple with the political dimensions of climate policies. The Global Stocktake has given impetus to the concept of just transitions in addition to mitigation and adaptation efforts. During the event, under the Chatham House rule, high-level representatives from government ministries, philanthropy and civil society will exchange experiences, discuss challenges and propose cooperative actions to accelerate just transitions.

The discussion will be facilitated by Dr Crispian Olver, PCC Executive Director; with opening remarks by Ani Dasgupta, World Resources Institute.
