International Climate Councils Network event

The International Climate Councils Network was launched at COP26, and since then has grown into an effective global collaboration between science councils. This event will bring together independent advisory councils to explore the value of impartial science-based advice in the climate transition. Given the COP28 focus on the Global Stocktake, the guest speaker will reflect on the core themes of the stocktake, including reflections on the ambition gap, building resilience for a warmer world, and financing mechanisms for just and climate-resilient scenarios.
