Integrated Energy Transition Information Sharing - Civil Society

The Presidential Climate Commission (PCC) is conducting a series of consultations around the implementation of South Africa's Just Transition Framework, Energy Plan and Just Energy Transition Investment Plan.

The purpose of this event is to share information with Civil Society Organisations around the following:

• Ensuring energy security and access while decarbonising the energy system and creating jobs in low carbon industries
• Accounting for the carbon constraint within energy planning, including the technology mix and energy governance
• Investments needed to deliver a just transition over the next five years
