National Climate Change Response Fund Dialogue

The PCC hosted a public dialogue on the design of the Climate Change Response Fund as announced by the President in his February 2024 State of the Nation Address, as well as consider options for its possible form, modality of operation, and funding mechanisms.

The fund is a mechanism that aims to mobilise public and private investment to address the adaptation funding gap.

This dialogue aimed to:

• Present the findings from a survey of the literature and experts views.
• Solicit input by stakeholders on various aspects of the CCRF.
• Explore opportunities and constraints linked to the fund.
• Provide a platform for sharing of knowledge and experience.
