South Africa is preparing to update its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets for 2030–2035, a crucial step in meeting its climate commitments under the Paris Agreement. As part of this process, the Presidential Climate Commission (PCC) is hosting a series of stakeholder consultations to gather insights and ensure the revised NDC reflects a just, inclusive, and ambitious climate agenda.
Each consultation focuses on sector-specific priorities and provides a platform for open discussions on mitigation, adaptation, and climate finance. Participants had an opportunity to contributenin shaping South Africa’s climate commitments and ensuring that they align with national socio-economic goals while advancing global climate action.
