Job Advert: Senior Manager: Climate Finance and Innovation

The Presidential Climate Commission (PCC) is hiring a Senior Manager: Climate Finance and Innovation to lead its work on mobilising climate finance, tracking capital flows, and advancing innovation for South Africa’s just transition.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on financing strategies for mitigation and adaptation,
• Engaging with stakeholders across the finance and innovation landscape, and
• Supporting the design of just transition financing mechanisms

Requirements:

• A relevant postgraduate qualification (Master’s preferred)
• At least 7 years’ experience in climate change and sustainable development
• Proven leadership and project management experience
• Strong research, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
