Summary of Outcomes from Country Platform Exchange 2025

The Country Platform (CP) Exchange is a high-level workshop designed to bring together leaders and practitioners from countries at the forefront of developing and implementing Country Platforms (CPs) for climate, nature, and development. This two-day event offered a unique opportunity for participants to learn from one another's experiences, share innovations, and explore how CPs can be adapted and scaled to address emerging challenges in climate transition, adaptation, and biodiversity. Through a series of case studies, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, the workshop delved into the key financial, institutional, and capacity challenges faced by CPs, while providing actionable guidance on how to enhance the role of financial partners, including public development banks, the private sector, and international institutions. By fostering a dynamic, South-South exchange and strengthening the global CP community of practice, the event aimed to create the momentum needed to position CPs as a central element in the global climate finance and development agenda, culminating in recommendations for the Finance in Common Summit (FiCS) 2025.
