Boitumelo Molete

Boitumelo Molete is Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), Social Development Policy Coordinator and Co-lead on Climate Change and Just Transition in the COSATU Policy Unit. She sits at the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) as a MANCO member and EXCO alternate member, as well as Organised Labour representative in the NEDLAC Development Chamber. Boitumelo is a UNEP Green Jobs for Youth Pact Advisory Group Member, 13th UNESCO Youth Forum South African Delegate and Inside Education 2023 100 South African Shining Stars. She is on the UNCCD Youth Caucus Coordination Team 2024/25, SANEA 2024 member sanea.org.za/member/BoitumeloMolete and an Advisory Committee Member on the South African Presidency: Just Energy Transition Funding Platform (JET FP). In 2024 she was awarded Mail&Guardian 200 Young South African and Sunday World Heroic Women 2024.

She joined the PCC as a Commissioner in September 2024.
