Zimasa Vazi

Zimasa Vazi is the Senior Manager responsible for Stakeholder Engagements at the PCC. She has over 10 years of experience delivering multimillion rand projects in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Eswatini. Zimasa’s core skills include not only partnership and stakeholder relationship building, but also includes government relations, socio-economic development and community engagement. She also has extensive experience working within local government in Southern Africa within economic development and regional development.

She has project managed donor funded programmes that have successfully improved the livelihoods of people (especially vulnerable groups), improved efficiency and profitability of SMMEs, improved capacity of entrepreneurs, government officials and councillors.

Zimasa Vazi is passionate about sustainability and ESG objectives within communities and business as part of the just transition towards a low carbon economy. She is confident working transversally across business units, with community members together with business and government to optimise impact.

Zimasa holds a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning and an undergraduate degree in economics and politics from the University of Cape Town.
